Certificate of Origin (CO):

COs are required for all goods on general forms. Final destination and ultimate consignee must be shown. COs must be accompanied by the Commercial Invoice. COs must be certified by any of the Chambers of Commerce within Singapore.

 

Educational Certificates

Educational certificates issued by Singapore’s Educational Institutions are required to be authenticated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore before coming to the UAE Embassy-Singapore. Only educational certificates issued by Singapore’s educational institutions will be certified by the UAE Embassy.

Educational Certificates issued not issued in Singapore should be certified by the UAE Embassy in the relevant country.

Important Notes:

- The authentication fees for Commercial Invoices are calculated base on the total value of the invoice,
- Payments for services provided by the U.A.E. Embassy Singapore should be in cash payment only.

AUTHENTICATION

Marriage Certificates, Birth Certificates, Contracts, Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates (In General), Power of Attorney, Trading and Distribution Agency, Financial Statements, Finger Prints, Police Clearance, Incorporating Certificates, Resolution of Board of Directors, have to be first notarized and then authenticated by the Singapore Department of foreign Affairs.

Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, Certificates of Analysis, Health and food Inspection Certificates, Shipping Certificate, Packing list, Customs Declaration, Agricultural, Pharmaceuticals and Food Products are to be certified by any of the Chambers of Commerce in Singapore

Depending on the document, all the documents have to be legalized first by any of the Chambers of Commerce in Singapore.

Authentication of Commercial Invoices and Certificates of Orgin:

Commercial Invoices

Commercial Invoice must contain complete description of the goods with their marks, number and type of packaging, gross and net weights, quantities and values. If available, indicate the H.S. tariff number for each commodity. Same signed declarations as in Certificate of Origin should appear on Commercial Invoices. Final destination and ultimate consignee must be shown.

Commercial invoices should be certified by any of the Chambers of Commerce within Singapore before coming to the Embassy.
